Yup...you read that right...EVER!.
My kids have been asking for Nutella and I refuse to buy it. It is loaded down with so much sugar, and their little bodies do not need it.
So today...I made MY version. And it is easy as heck as well. If you have a food processor, then you can make it!
It's that time of year again....life gets really busy with after school activities, work schedules, and getting ready for the up coming holiday season!
And to me there is nothing better than walking through the door after a busy day and being able to give my family a delicious meal, plus be able to head out the door to activities knowing that my kids have a good meal in their tummies.
Enter.....the crock pot!
This kitchen gadget has to be my all time favorite fall/winter kitchen appliance to use....ever....
Hearty stews, delicious soups, casseroles, dessert.....yup I said DESSERT!!!! You can basically cook anything in this lovely pot. However, it is all in the planning.
The evening before, gather up the ingredients, throw it all in the crock liner, place in fridge until morning.
Then while pouring that hot cup of coffee at 6am, put the liner in the crock pot, turn on and forget about it! When you get home after work....voila! A delicious meal that everyone will appreciate :)
I gathered 20 of my favorite crock pot recipes that I love to serve to my family and friends. It was super hard to narrow this list down too...so maybe next week I will share another group of recipes for everyone!
If you make any of these, let me know how it turns out! You will get more points if you share a picture on my Facebook Page as well :)
Stress is an unavoidable part of our daily lives. A certain amount of stress is actually necessary for our
survival; however, the amount of stress most people are under these days is causing more harm than
good and can have serious health implications.
• 43% of all adults suffer adverse health effects due to stress.
• 75%-90% of all medical visits are in some way related to stress.
Stress greatly impacts one’s health; it speeds up the aging process and leaves us feeling fatigued and
demotivated. Not only is stress correlated with weight gain and the inability to lose weight, but it is also
linked to a wide variety of diseases including:
• Cardiovascular disease
• Gastrointestinal disorders
• Anxiety & Depression
We are celebrating Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada! So Happy Turkey Weekend!
I love hosting the holiday meals at my place, and 99% of the time I do. However, this weekend, my daughter is hosting it at her place. But she knows what her momma likes and I'm in control of the dessert...so we are all good.
Thanksfully, we only need to drive for 10 minutes to her house. However, I know many of you are traveling longer distances this weekend (and really this time of year). So I'm here to help!
We all know what it's like waiting at the airport or traveling long distances in our vehicles...It's tiresome, sometimes boring and well you get hungry as well!
So how do I stay on track while I travel, while living a LCHF/Ketogenic Lifestyle? I'm so glad you asked :)
