Two weeks ago, I noticed people talking about a Spicy Chicken Patty on Instagram from a certain account. So naturally I stalked that account for the recipe because I'm a recipe junkie. After spend the better part of a day, going through all the comments on all the pictures to get this said recipe....I ended up with nothing. I noticed some people had the recipe already while others were requesting it but to no avail.
So what did I do? Well I made my own of course...and I'm gonna share that with you!
Spicy Chicken Patties
These patties get a double hit of spice....one in the actual patty and the other in the crunchy coating!
Ingredients: chicken mixture
Crunchy Coating Mix:
Coat each patty on both sides with the pork rind crumb mixture. Fry the chicken patties in bacon grease. (that's what I used. You can also use avocado oil or coconut oil. But the bacon grease gives these a delicious flavour)
I fried mine about 3 min per side until brown. Then placed on a parchment line baking sheet and finished off the cooking in the oven at 400 deg, for about 10 min, until fully cooked through.
I like these in a lettuce wrap with a spicy mustard and peppers!
If you make these, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think, or post a pic of yours, follow and tag me in Instagram or Facebook!
